Casting Assistant Internship programme brought to you by Ali Coffey Casting, in association with Fís Éíreann/Screen Ireland.

Our fully paid 12-week programme
The Casting Assistant Internship programme we offered in 2024 proved very successful and we will most likely look for another intern in 2025.

What to expect?
As an intern, you will learn the inner workings and the skills required for the casting process. Then, you can build a career as a casting assistant in the Irish industry or abroad.

Who should apply
No casting experience is required to apply. This intern position is suitable for anyone currently working in the industry who would like to follow their passion and apply themselves to casting. Or newcomers to the industry looking to build a career in casting. We’re particularly keen to hear from people who are from traditionally underrepresented groups in our industry

You should have a particular interest in film and television with a fascination for analysing and recognising a strong performance in a production, possess good organisational and computer skills, and be available to work during office hours 4 days per week (not weekends) over a 12-week period, and finally, be based in Ireland—working remotely is possible if you are based regionally.

We value diversity and celebrate it in all its forms. We support inclusion and encourage equal opportunity employment, irrespective of race, age, socio-economic or ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
